The hotel is located in winter directly on the ski slope and in summer directly on the hiking trail – your Aktivhotel in Maranza.
To start the day our rich breakfast buffet awaits you. In the evening we spoil you with a delicious salad buffet and a 4 – course menu.The mixture of South Tyrolean and Italian food leaves nothing to be desired.
Our Hotel Kristall shines in new splendor since July 2017, with new rooms made of pine and spruce wood, a new dining room, cozy parlor, sky sauna, hay bath, panoramic roof terrace and new hot spring jacuzzi under the open sky.

Family-run since 1976, the Hotel Kristall in South Tyrol is located in Meransen am Gitschberg in the Val di Pusteria. The Hotel on the 1,442-meter high plateau is committed to sustainability and offers its guests a very natural atmosphere, which does not detract from the beauty of the Dolomites / Southern Alps and the surrounding nature. From the car park you can directly reach the reception area, which is completely lined with local wood. Here we warmly welcome you and your family.
To underline the unique atmosphere of our family-run hotel, we offer a cozy lounge, a sunlit dining room and an exquisite wine cellar. South Tyrol is known for its exceptional wines, which have already won numerous awards and awards. In 2018, the eight most important Italian wine guides Gambero Rosso, Slow Wine, L’Espresso, AIS, Veronelli, Vinibuoni, Doctor Wine and Bibenda awarded a total of 133 different South Tyrolean wines. In 2017, there were 126 different wines from South Tyrol, which were awarded for their authentic taste and distinctive character. Visit our wine cellar and see for yourself the exquisite taste.
