Come as guests and leave us as friends, we follow this motto since 40 years in the 3 star hotel Kristall. In our family held hotel, tradition and Alpine lifestyle enable us to be exceptional hosts to everyone. Since 1976 do we share with our guests the lifestyle and happiness of South Tyrol – on the Maranza Plateau, one of the sunniest areas in South Tyrol.

What started of as a small endeavour grew quickly. Initially, the founding father Luis Fischnaller planned a beautiful Villa, which resulted in the “Pension Luis.” Simultaneously, the Ski school “Gitschberg” was opened. His love and passion towards winter sport was related to his guests as Ski instructor.
With his wife Helga, who came from a family which specialised in hosting others in Maranza, Luis Fischnaller led the “Pension Luis” affectionately. Many came as guests and left as friends.

The Opening of the

Hotel Kristall – Maranza South Tyrol

After many successful years was it time to change. We prepared ourselves to turn the “pension Luis” into a Hotel. Since 1996 do we have the pleasure to host our many guests. Every year are things changed and included in our family run business to allow our guests to experience a remarkable stay at the Hotel. This includes our wellness area, wine cellar, dining room and conservatory such as the hotel owned bar.
It is not only our profession to make sure that you experience a fantastic stay as a guest at the 3 star hotel, it is our pleasure. We often take part in activities with our guests and are always around the building and of course are easily approachable.

Our son Daniel often offers hiking tours and will guide you through our favourite areas in Maranza. He can also guide you safely on the ski pistes as he is an Alpine ski instructor. At least once week can you find us in our Alm hut aka ”the Witch House.”

The Hotel Kristall is a popular destination for those who enjoy winter sports, hiking tours and like to enjoy and relax for a couple of days. The 3 Star Hotel Kristall, lies in the sunny “Hochland” a few kilometres von “Brixen.” A wonderful breakfast awaits you every Monday with many selected South Tyrol specialities.
A sunny conservatory, a wine cellar and a wellness area welcome you to indulge in this experience which you can find at the 3 star Hotel Kristall even further.
