Holiday with dog in South Tyrol
Holiday with the four-legged friend
In front of the fantastic mountain scenery of South Tyrol you will spend an exciting holiday together with your four-legged friend. For dog owners, the four-legged companion belongs as a full member of the family and of course no animal lover wants to forego the company of the faithful companion in the most beautiful weeks of the year.
On holiday is finally enough time to frolic with the dog under the open sky, to play and to hike. As a starting point for your activities the Hotel Kristall is perfect. From here you start with your four-legged friends to adventurous hikes on the Meransner high plateau and varied cycling tours in the Puster Valley.
Dog friendly accommodation in Maranza
The mountains of South Tyrol with an endless network of hiking and biking trails are perfect for a holiday with the four-legged friends. However, pets are not welcome in every accommodation and finding a suitable place to stay may turn out to be a time-consuming affair.
At the Hotel Kristall dogs are welcome guests. The rooms offer enough space for mistresses, owners and four-legged friends and for a small extra charge your four-legged darling will be accommodated in our Hotel Kristall. The only requirement is to carry your own dog basket or blanket for the dog. Our Hotel Kristall is centrally located in the sunny village of Meransen on a high plateau above the Puster Valley.
Mountain holiday with dog in the 3 star Hotel Kristall
A wealth of attractive destinations and natural alpine pastures and valleys in the area of Meransen invite you to stay outdoors. Walks with your dog take you to the idyllic Altfass Valley, to the wonderfully located Fane Alm and to the alpine pasture Gitschberg Jochtal.
Rustic inns with large sun terraces invite you on the way to a rest and on numerous crystal clear mountain streams your four-legged companion can quench your thirst on the way. This saves you from having to carry a drinking water supply for the dog. Perennial dogs can accompany you on a bike ride in the Eisacktal or Pustertal and for older dogs and short-legged breeds there are numerous walks on the Meransner plateau.
